About Lucia
Who is Lucia
Lucia Orlando is a versatile and passionate professional with a rich background in dance, theatre, massage and bodywork, meditation, energy work, coaching and teaching.
From an early age, her body was her most important instrument, which led her into a dance career filled with extraordinary experiences, both in the Netherlands and abroad. A highlight was her role in the musical 'West Side Story' in the United States in 1998. Over time, however, Lucia noticed her body needed increasingly longer periods of recovery after each project. This insight opened the door to a new path.
In 2004 Lucia decided to retrain as a massage therapist, born from a deep passion to help others feel good in their own bodies. After years of intensive training, she opened her own practice in Amsterdam in 2009: 'Il Tocco'. In her native Italian, 'Il Tocco' means 'The touch', a name that reflects not only physical touch, but also the deeper connection that brings people back into contact with themselves.
